Welcome to NODA EAST Here in the East, we have over 260 society members and around 180 individual members. We provide advice on Health & Safety, Legislation governing children in performance, how to set up and run a society, and many other aspects of the amateur theatre. In addition, we will try to find replacement actors, directors, musical directors and choreographers when you ask for help. We run regional meetings which allow members from within their respective regions to come together to discuss matters of mutual interest. Regional representatives service the grassroots membership and they will involve themselves in writing reviews of productions, presenting Long Service Awards, sit on audition panels and serve as the first port of call when you need assistance. A regional magazine is produced twice a year and the national magazine comes out on a quarterly basis, full of local and national information. Each year we meet, as an area, in a different location for the purpose of our A G M, and take the opportunity to relax together in a social environment and have some fun. We are lucky in the East to have societies who are willing to host such events. If your Society is interested in becoming part of the East family, then don’t hesitate in calling me, or any member of the regional committee for further information. By becoming an Individual member you will receive your own copy of both the region and national magazines. The annual subscription is small but the benefits are great! Why not join today? Application forms can be downloaded from this site. John Warburton Councillor for East Region We await your call and will be delighted to welcome you on board!
