As promised the awards this year will provide a Certificate
for the best Musical, the best Drama and the best Pantomime in each Districtfor
the shows performed in 2007. The district best production Shield will be
awarded to the best of these three.
Next year we shall consider the possibility of a Youth
Award, but only after defining an age range for the performers taking part. All
winners have been advised in the expectation that a representative from each of
the winning Societies will be at the AGM in Norwich on 19th April to be
presented with their award. The ‘Smart Cup’ will be presented during the
evening for the Best Production in the Region, selected from those already
awarded a District Shield
